شهدت دبي الإطلاق الرسمي لأول مجموعة أعمال لصناعة الورق والمناديل في الإمارات تحت مظلة غرفة تجارة دبي، إحدى الغرف الثلاث العاملة تحت مظلة غرف دبي، حيث تم تأسيس مجموعة «دوبات» لتعزيز المنتجات «صنع في الإمارات» على المستويين المحلي والعالمي. وجاء الإعلان خلال مؤتمر ومعرض صناعة الورق «بروبيبر دبي 2024» الذي أقيم في دبي أول من أمس، وتهدف المجموعة التي تضم نحو 30 عضواً مؤسساً، والهدف هو تسجيل أكثر من 300 عضو، دعم صناعة الورق المموج والمناديل الورقية في الإمارات والتي تُقدر قيمتها بنحو 2 مليار دولار (7.4 مليارات درهم)، لتحقيق مراحل نمو جديدة وتعزيز مكانة العلامة التجارية «صنع في الإمارات» في الأسواق المختلفة.
