Ashish Khemka

Ashish Khemka is a Chartered Accountant (All India Rank 41) with over 15 years of experience spanning strategic finance, infrastructure development, and operational leadership across Africa and India.
He currently serves as Director – Finance & Operations at Lagos Free Zone Company, where he plays a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, capital mobilization, and operational excellence. Ashish has successfully led capital raising initiatives exceeding USD 775 million, including the execution of Nigeria’s first 20-year private corporate infrastructure bond and the securing of equity investment from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
In addition to overseeing the financial management of the Free Zone, he leads operational execution across feasibility planning, stakeholder governance, digital transformation, and regulatory alignment. He has worked closely with key regulatory bodies, including NEPZA, the Nigeria Customs Service, and Immigration authorities, to strengthen compliance frameworks and facilitate trade and investment.
Ashish is passionate about leveraging finance as a catalyst for growth, infrastructure development, and long-term value creation. His areas of expertise include infrastructure finance, ESG-driven growth strategies, Free Zone development, blended capital solutions, and public-private partnerships.
